The H1 Classic Rifle & Carbine is the rifle that introduced more shooters to lever actions than any other, and for decades it has remained the benchmark for what a great .22 rifle should be. Simple, accurate, affordable, and built with premium materials, the H1 Classic is the most popular .22 lever action in the world for good reason.

Built in Rice Lake, Wisconsin and crafted with genuine American walnut, the H1 Classic offers a level of fit, finish, and shooting enjoyment rarely found at its price point. Whether you’re looking for a first rifle, a training rifle, a small-game companion, or simply the best lever action .22 to keep within reach, the H1 delivers unmatched value and timeless appeal.

At the heart of the H1 Classic is its exceptionally smooth lever action. The action cycles effortlessly, so smooth that many first-time shooters remark they can hardly believe there are internal parts at work. That smoothness, combined with the rifle’s natural balance and light weight, makes it easy and enjoyable to shoot for long sessions at the range or in the field.

The H1 Classic family is offered in Rifle and Carbine configurations, as well as .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle and .22 Magnum chamberings. The Classic Rifle models feature an 18.5″ barrel, offering a longer sight radius and slightly higher velocities, while the Classic Carbine models use a handier 16.5″ barrel for quicker handling and easier carry.

Chambered in .22 S/L/LR, the H1 Classic Rifle and Carbine offer unmatched versatility, allowing shooters to run everything from quiet .22 Short to full-power .22 Long Rifle. For those looking for more punch, the .22 Magnum variants provide increased velocity and energy while retaining the same smooth action and classic handling.

Features include side ejection, an adjustable rear sight, a hooded front sight, and a 3/8″ grooved receiver for easy scope mounting. The blued steel barrel is machined with precision rifling for excellent accuracy, and the tubular magazine offers generous capacity making the H1 a reliable and fun alternative to a semi-automatic .22.

Affordable, dependable, and built with pride, the H1 Classic Rifle & Carbine proves that a budget lever action .22 doesn’t have to feel cheap. It’s a rifle that shoots great, looks right, and earns its place in gun cabinets, barns, camps, and memories across America.
