Remove oxygen absorber and discard
Add 2 cups of boiling water to hashbrown
pouch and reseal (use caution, pouch will become
hot). Set pouch aside to allow potatoes to rehydrate for 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are hydrated and tender.
Drain off any excess water, pat dry with paper towel to remove as much excess moisture as possible.
To a hot, nonstick skillet add 2 Tbsp of oil. Carefully pour well drained potatoes into the skillet, add salt (to taste), and cook over medium to high heat. Stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
