KingsFleet™ Traditional Linseed Oil is a recipe that has been passed down by craftspeople, carpenters, farmers, and tradesmen for centuries.
 
This is 100% Pure, Natural, Cold-Pressed Linseed Oil that has been filtered, refined, and boiled twice. Contains no additives! 
 
Traditional, or 'raw' linseed oil is very similar to the "boiled" linseed oil alternatives in wood protection/finishing - the main difference being that there are no drying agents added, which means it is an all-natural alternative, but takes a bit longer to dry/cure! Our Traditional Linseed Oil is a natural product that is non-toxic, which makes it a safe choice for use on wooden surfaces that come into contact with skin or are used in children's toys, and is recommended for furniture, tool handles, and other wooden objects. 
 
Apply easily with a brush or roller. Allow for 30 minutes for absorption then wipe off any excess oil. Care should be taken to ensure that excess oil does not pool on flat surfaces, as it may result in an uneven finish. 3-4 coats are recommended, with reapplications as necessary. 
 
Due to the lack of driers and additives, Traditional Linseed Oil may take 14 days or more to fully cure. Therefore, for surfaces that you walk on such as decks and floors, we recommend our Boiled Linseed Oil.
 
USES: 
Wood Preservation: Penetrates deeply to nourish and protect untreated wood, ideal for indoor use, especially when an all natural alternative with no additives is desired.
Tool Handle Conditioning: Maintains and protects wooden tool handles, preventing splinters and crack (seal it in with KingsFleet™Tool Handle Wax!)
Paint Medium: Used as a natural binder in the making of oil paints and traditional primers.
Natural Wood Sealer: Seals porous surfaces before finishing and, once fully cured, this product is safe for food contact surfaces.
Metal Rust Prevention: Applied to iron or steel tools to inhibit rust when storing (Not to be applied to cast-iron frying pans, or moving parts).
Stone & Terracotta Protection: Helps waterproof and enhance the color of natural stone and terracotta pots.Can be used on stone walkways.
Antique Furniture Maintenance: Restores luster and prevents drying or cracking in heirloom pieces.
